The College Level Examination Grievance Redressal Council (CLEGRC) includes Principal (Chairperson), Programme Coordinator (B.Ed. and M.Ed.), Examination Monitoring Committee Member, Senior Teacher and Student Representative. The council focuses on redressing the grievances related to internal and external examinations. The council also promotes the mechanism of examination system to make it student friendly and stress free. The system of internal evaluation is transparent and robust and time-bound. The institution adopts various steps like display of internal assessment marks before the terminal examination, collection of timely feedbacks on individual and group performance, provision for improvement, access to tutorial and remedial support through both offline and online mode etc. The College Level Examination Grievance Redressal Council (CLEGRC) addresses and resolve complaints related to examination and reforms. Submission of grievance, review and verification, resolution committee, investigation, decision and communication, appeal process and final resolution are the steps included in CLEGRC. The submission of grievances shall be through online/offline modes which is part of Grievance Redressal Cell functioning in the college. The review, investigation, decision, communication and resolution are convened by CLEGRC. The awareness regarding this Council is provided in various occasions including student induction programme, exam orientation programmes, student council, college website, notice board, classroom interactions and during mentoring. The Council meets at least thrice a year adjacent to internal and external examinations. Students are provided with Examination Grievance Redressal Response form through online mode. Grievance related to questions, mode of administration, contents and evaluation are included in it. Students are thus provided provision to submit their grievances/remarks/responses related to examination.
The College Level Examination Grievance Redressal Council (CLEGRC) reviews the submitted grievances to verify its validity. They may request additional information or evidence from the person raising the concern. This ensures fairness, transparency and accountability in the examination process. It gives students a formal way to address any issues they may have encountered during examination including concerns related to question papers, evaluation or other aspects of examination. Students are aware of and follow the grievance redressal process set by the institution.
