A Student Wellness Centre in a college is crucial for promoting and maintaining the well- being of students. It provides counseling and mental health services, addressing stress, anxiety, and other psychological concerns that students may face. It helps to raise awareness about mental health issues, reducing stigma and encouraging open conversations around well-being. The Jeevani Counsellor also supports & helps the students by Psycho-Therapies and Counselling. The Wellness Centre ensures the student success not only in academic area but also promotes physical and mental well-being, contributing to a holistic approach to education.
Jeevani is a comprehensive mental health project implemented by the Department of collegiate education, Govt. of Kerala, which focuses on the mental wellbeing of the students in the government-government aided colleges in Kerala. Jeevani aims to improve awareness and promotion of mental health among college students along with ensuring early identification of psychological issues. As a part of the scheme, a full time counselor is appointed as apprentice trainee in our institution.

Additionally, group counseling can be particularly beneficial for addressing common concerns like time management, relationships, and adjustment to college life and family life.
Psychometric assessments in a college setting involve the use of standardized tests and tools to measure students' abilities, personality traits, interests, and other psychological variables. These assessments can aid in career guidance, personal development, and academic planning. By providing a comprehensive understanding of students' strengths and areas for improvement, psychometric assessments help students to make decisions about their education and future careers.
Organizing workshops and events in colleges for student wellness can cover a range of topics such as stress management, mental health awareness, mindfulness practices, and overall well-being. These initiatives aim to provide students with tools and strategies to cope with academic and personal challenges. Workshops on topics like time management, resilience, effective communication and personality development can contribute to a positive experience. Additionally, events promoting physical health, like fitness classes or sports activities, drama workshops can complement the holistic approach to student wellness
