A presiding officer who shall be a woman faculty member employed at senior level (not
below Associate Professor in case of a college) at the educational institution, nominated
by Executive authority.
- Faculty members and two non-teaching employees preferably committed to the cause of
woman or who have had experience in social works or have legal knowledge, nominated
by Executive authority.
- Three students- if the matter involves students enrolled at U.G., P.G. and research level
- One member from amongst non-government organisation or association committed to the
cause of woman or a person familiar with the issues related to sexual harassment.
II. At least one half of total members of ICC shall be women.
III. Person in senior administrative position in HEI such as Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor,
Rectors-Registrar, Deans, H.O.D. etc. shall not be members of ICC in order to cause autonomy
of their functioning.
IV. Term of Office bearers of ICC shall be for a period of three years. Also employ a system
whereby one third of the member of ICC may change every year
V. Members appointed from amongst the non-government organisation or association shall be
paid such fees or allowance for holding proceedings of ICC by the executive authority.
